Only right to start with the schooling since launched from GCHS. I have worked as an RN since graduating from Albany Junior College in 1974.
I obtained a Bachelors of Science I. Health Education from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1976 and Masters in Health Education/certificate in Gerontology from University of Oregon in 1981.
Am credentialed as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse.
Domestic life:
I lived in the Pacific Northwest for a couple of exciting years then moved to Knoxville, Tn in 1982.
Did the "got married, had kids, raised kids, got divorced," bit. Stayed married 21 years.
Moved to Hendersonville, North Carolina in 2000.
I retired in 2019 after 45 years as a RN.

I’ve traveled a bit! Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Italy, England, Croatia, US, Canada, and Mexico! Move over Covid.
I’ve won some awards for excellence in nursing. The North Carolina “ Great 100 award” and a national “Daisy Award.” I am proud of this recognition. The almost daily rewards in nursing are more ethereal and are what help to keep me going. Retirement has afforded me the opportunity to engage in my passions. Many had their seeds planted in high school! Photography, being in the woods, studying about wildflowers, and reading.
I’ve lead an ordinary and happy life. Looking forward to seeing all of you!
